Supply Lists for 2010-2011

These are provided as a service and every effort is made to make sure they are up to date. In all cases, parents and students should remember that on the first day, you will need pencil, pen and paper, even if you do not have the rest of the materials. Pre-packaged supplies were available through the Travis PTA. (Calculators & fees are separate from boxed supplies.)

Grade 5

Supplies used by all classes: 1 2" zip binder, 1 set 5ct plastic pocket/tab dividers with slant pocket on each side, 3 pkg 200ct wide rule filler paper, 1 rm copy paper, 1 pencil bag, 24 #2 pre-sharpened pencils, 2 red ballpoint pens, 2 12ct colored pencils, 2 8ct colored markers, 1 pair 7" scissors, 1 12" ruler metric/inches, 2 pkg ruled index cards (either 3x5 or 4x6), 2 bx Kleenex, 1 flash drive, 1 gig or higher recommended

Math: 1 plastic pocket portfolio (no holes), 1 pad .5 cm graph paper, 1 3 subject spiral notebook, 1 black chisel tip dry erase marker, 1 fine tip black dry erase marker,

Language Arts: 1 set 5 tab index dividers, 1 70ct wide rule spiral notebook

Reading- 1 One and a half inch binder with dividers; 1 Pocket Dictionary, Websters; 1 Pocket Thesaurus, Rogets; 1 ream of computer paper; 1 eight tab index divider; 1 pack of manila paper (12x18 in)

Social Studies- 1 One and a half inch binder with dividers, 1 Package dividers (8 per set), 1 package of notebook paper (wide ruled 200 count), 1 package of #2 pencils, 1 package colored pencils (12 count), 1 ream of computer paper, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 pack of Huggie wipes

Science- 1 Spiral Notebook, 1 Pack Blue or Black Pens, 1 Pack #2 pencils, 1 Package of notebook paper

Language Arts- 1 roll of paper towels, 1 package antibacterial wipes, 1 ream of computer paper, 1 package of notebook paper (wide ruled), 2 folders with brads, with or without pockets, 1 box of facial tissues

Grade 8

General Student Supplies— 1 backpack (no wheeled luggage; it must fit in locker), College ruled notebook paper, 1 pkg. of twelve #2 pencils, 1 pkg. of highlighters, 3 vinyl-covered hard-back binders: (Red: Math/Science, Blue: Language Arts, Green: U.S. Studies),
